While gazing through Brighton's website, my sister arrived and asked me what I was doing. I told her that I'm checking out Brighton rings. I was planning to order one and add it to my collection of Brighton jewelry. My sister is simple and not into jewelry so she asked me why is it important to have one. She can't understand the idea of wearing jewelry. To her, it's a waste of money.

I explained to her that having jewelry is an investment. Well this applies to buying those real ones. But wearing jewelry, whether real or fake creates one’s own statement. I told my sister that normally, anyone who wears accessories wants to make an impression of themselves to other people, whether it be their dates, friends, colleagues at work or their bosses. In fact, wearing accessories can also help an individual boost their confidence.
I also reminded her that if she has to wear accessories, she should not over do it. Normally, the maximum piece of jewelry one should wear is limited to three items. She can wear a pair earrings with a necklace and a ring. She can also go with just the earrings, necklace and bracelet. Wearing more than three could mean you are trying hard with adorning yourself and you really don't want to be over the top with it. I also told her that it’s never bad if one only wears one or two pieces. The most important thing is that you are comfortable with the jewelry that you are wearing.
And since my sister is going for simple, I showed her some Brighton rings. Most of these rings have a distinctive vintage look and they will look good on her. I think I got her convinced since the unthinkable happened. After fiddling with her MAC, she came back to me showing me a ring she liked. She asked me to look at the Marrakesh Triple Ring. It’s a 3 piece set and she convinced me to buy it for her. I knew this was coming. I finally gave in to her qualms since it’s going to be her first jewelry and I also liked the ring she chose. I was eyeing on the Dreamscape Ring which has a silver-smoky quartz square shaped stone with etched hearts surrounding the setting of the ring and I will also include this in my order.
As for my sister, this will be the last time I will buy one for her. I told her she has to earn the money if she’ll decide on investing in jewelry. As for me, I won’t stop with this purchase. I’m going to check next month’s collections of the Brighton rings along with other jewelries to see if anything catches my attention.
